“If I were her, I would be on top of the world.” That phrase is often used in society and is a common reason why people compare and think negatively about themselves. Have you ever had a bad day and thought why can’t I have soft, clear and glowing skin like Hailey Bieber? Or why can’t I have a body like Bella Hadid or Kendall Jenner? We often cause ourselves to think that physical perfection is a shield against hardship.

Insecurity causes us to look at the good that others have and be jealous of it. Maybe one day you and your friends are going to the beach and you all are wearing bikinis but you see that your other friends all have really toned and skinny model-looking bodies and you are embarrassed to be showing your body. Maybe your skin is dry or you are not the fittest compared to all of them. But guess what?  No one cares. No matter how pretty or famous someone is, people always have big insecurities.

It sucks when we look at others and wish that we wish we looked like them, but we should never feel bad about ourselves because everyone has their own beauty. Do not forget that the “real” beauty comes from the inside, not the outside.
